June 5 is the date for the 2nd Annual Chestnut Hill Plein Air Art Competition, held in a picturesque part of Philadelphia.

Jill Rupinski, an associate professor at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, will serve as the selection juror, and William R. Valerio, the director and CEO of the Woodmere Art Museum, will serve as the awards judge. Artists must paint along Germantown Avenue, in what is dubbed “Philadelphia’s Garden District.”
