Kelly Kane’s Pick of the Week: Workingman’s Shed

“Sometimes I’ll know that it will be a good painting before I start it, and sometimes I’m not sure if it will translate well or turn out. If it’s a good and interesting experience and the results are there, then there’s more to share with the viewer.

“If not, then it’ll go in my box of disappointments or get painted over. Good or bad, I never regret doing a painting.” — Charles Newman, “First Impressions” (August-September 2018 PleinAir Magazine)
