The Debra Huse Gallery hosted Just Plein Fun 2014 at the end of July on Balboa Island, California, and the winners are below.
Rita Pacheco won First Place for her painting “Fun Zone.” Michael Clements nabbed Second Place for “View From Washington St. Pier,” and Third Place went to Toni Williams for “Diamond Alley.”
Awards of Merit were won by Mark Fehlman and Michele Byrne. The People’s Choice Award went to Sally Jordan. Kirsten Anderson won the Randy Higbee kingofframe.com award, and the Best Brush Off Award (a two-hour quick draw competition) was won by Mike Carroll. In all, 13 artists were invited to participate in the event.
