The artist members of Southern California Artists Painting for the Environment (S.C.A.P.E.) have their work for sale in a benefit for the Naples Coalition and the Gaviota Coast Conservancy, May 13 and 14 at the Bacara Resort & Spa in Goleta, California.
The show is called “Visions of the Gaviota Coast: The Jewel in Our Backyard,” and the silent auction occurs on Friday, May 13, from 1-7 pm. There’s a $40 admission fee, and the paintings range in value, with some exceeding $9,000. Karl Dempwolf will serve as judge. More than 100 artists are expected to participate.
The fundraiser’s aim is “to preserve and maintain the beautiful rural character of our rare and open coastline,” according to the organizers.
