About the Artist:

Camille Przewodek is an acknowledged authority on color who regularly serves as an entry and awards judge for various painting competitions and events.  She is also a much sought after instructor, advancing an approach to painting focused essentially on “seeing” the various light keys of nature, and expressing them through accurate color relationships.  She conducts painting workshops across the country, and offers regular weekly classes at her home studio in Northern California.

Camille studied with Impressionist master, Henry Hensche, at the Cape School of Art, founded by Charles W. Hawthorne (1872-1930) in Provincetown, MA in 1899.  She has been an invited instructor, lecturer, and panelist on the Hensche-Hawthorne approach to seeing and painting color at American Artist Magazine’s Weekend with the Masters, as well as a regularly featured, on-stage demonstrator at Plein Air Magazine’s Annual Plein Air Convention.  Camille is a Signature member of the Laguna Plein Air Painters, Oil Painters of America, and the American Impressionist Society; a Master Signature member of American Women Artists; and an Artist member of the California Art Club.
