The latest PleinAir Art Podcast with Eric Rhoads features award-winning artist Jennifer McChristian, whose passion for being outdoors naturally led her outside of her studio walls.
McChristian studied illustration design in college, which also led her to working in the field of animation while in California. She says she always wanted to pursue a painting career full-time, which she began after getting married.
Today, she paints in non-conventional locations, and while she considers herself to be a “neat freak” in general, her work is loose, bold, and abstract.
