Robert Gamblin talking to artists in the Gamblin Oils booth

Many who attended the 2012 Plein Air Convention & Expo in Las Vegas took advantage of the opportunity to use show discounts and to ask questions of the people who make their favorite brushes, frames, panels, equipment, and paint. That opportunity will be even greater at this year’s event in Monterey, California. Find out who’ll be there.

“For months now, we have been working closely with many of the key suppliers, manufacturers, and service organizations that will be exhibiting at the 2nd Annual Plein Air Convention & Expo in support of our community of artists,” says Richard Lindenberg, PleinAir’s  national sales manager, supplies. “Not only will they be featuring new products and materials, they will be selling product there too. It’s your chance to stock up on brands you know, or brands you might not have experienced before. If last year was any indication, you should probably consider purchasing things early in the convention because many vendors completely sold out of product before the event was over. Many exhibitors will have special deals for participants.”
