We love to hear from the Plein Air Today and PleinAir magazine community! The following is part of a series that spotlights an artist who loves painting outdoors. Today’s feature is on Sherry Lutz Wooley from the Texas Hill Country area.
“When it’s 105 degrees outside, we found a way to stay cool while painting,” said artist Sherry Lutz Wooley. “I sat up a canopy in the Guadalupe River for our Texas Hill Country Plein Air Painters. Some beautiful paintings resulted, with the play of light down on the river.”
