This is a fun vantage point that works well for harbor scenes. It is a way of inviting you onto the boat, and it gives an intimate feel to hard surfaces. Although there is a bit of a confusing tangent on the forward railing, the angles of boats and masts move your eye around the painting nicely. It is a great study that shows white is not always white.
