The Advent of Spring

This little watercolor was painted, on location, high in the San Juan Mountains of Southwest Colorado, not far from my home. A true high country lake. The sun shining on remnant patches of snow across the lake caught my eye. There was so much downed timber that added to the design. A fun painting to do.
