The Snowmass Plein Air Art Festival took place August 7-14, 2022, in beautiful Snowmass Village, Colorado. Eighteen Colorado based artists enjoyed five days of painting around Snowmass Village, at the iconic Maroon Bells (the most photographed peaks in North American), near rivers in the Roaring Fork Valley, and on scenic hiking trails around Snowmass.

The festival opened with a welcome reception at the Snowmass Chapel, where artists were given the chance to mix and mingle, as well as to get their bearings for the week ahead. The artists reconvened the next day in Snowmass Base Village for a festive brunch and judging, before opening to the public for a weekend of celebratory selling.
