On view in Atlanta, Georgia, at Lagerquist Gallery, “A Longing for Home” features Odom’s recent exploration of church houses en plein air. The artist’s spiritual subjects are captured in a variety of seasons and times of day, showcasing Odom’s range as a plein air artist. In addition to being remarkably beautiful, the paintings evoke a sense of Southern history, culture, and nostalgia.
