Art Center South Florida has 38 subsidized studios in South Beach — the heart of Miami — for artists working in various media. The discounted rents are calculated by square footage and range from $280 to $600. They last from six months to two years. Participants can be exhibited in window exhibition spaces and will get additional exposure through scheduled studio crawls open to the public.
Deadlines continue throughout the year, with the next one coming September 30. Another batch of applicants will be reviewed and finalists interviewed around January 31 and May 31, 2014.
