Plein air painters busy depicting the Twin Lakes Footbridge in Eden Park in Cincinnati

The Cincinnati Art Club is hosting an Oil Painters of America Paint Out for the second year in a row on Saturday, October 4.

All are invited to register for the event, which enjoyed a previous day of painting on September 27. “The OPA Paint Out was so successful last year that the rain date became the second day of painting, as requested by the participating artists,” says Todd Channer, the president of the Cincinnati Art Club. “This year we decided to do the same and paint two days.”

The Cincinnati Art Club considers itself the second-oldest art club of its kind in the country, with a history reaching back to 1890. The participating artists will meet at the CAC’s building and proceed to Eden Park, a bucolic high point in Cincinnati with views of the Ohio River.
