On View Through July 31, 2023:
“Love the Land” exhibition of paintings by Laurel Sherrie
Joebella Coffee House, Atascadero, California

From the organizers:

Laurel Sherrie’s vibrant paintings celebrate local scenic vistas. Sherrie’s idea of featuring local lands is two-fold. Not only does she highlight the special places around San Luis Obispo County, but she also hopes that her paintings will inspire people to get out and experience public lands for themselves.

With jubilant colors, Sherrie treasures painting local landmarks all over the county “en plein air” (on location). This exhibit includes wildflowers at Carrizo Plain, local ranch scenes, and our treasured coastline. Sherrie’s creative perspective with color and light truly pull the viewer into her landscapes.
